Bollywood most kissable Actress!

Looks like there is no dearth of titles for Katrina Kaif. From 'lucky mascot' to World's Sexiest
Woman and now, most kissable celeb, there seem to be no stopping the stunning actress.
She made news with her 17 hot smooches in Khwahish. No wonder readers find her very kissable!
But it looks like Mallika is limiting her kissing spree. Her latest movie, Ugly Aur Pagli
boasts of just one kiss
Shilpa Shetty, even Richard Gere cannot resist her. Need we say more?
Amrita Rao,this petite lass is known for her staunch refusal to expose or kiss her co-stars.
But that doesn't make her any less kissable.
Cute, bubbly and very kissable, Ayesha has promised not to kiss her co-stars.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the most beautiful woman in the world is also the most kissable. Wow.
Bipasha Basu,She's bold and beautiful with a perfect pout to match. The list would be incomplete
without this Bengali bombshell.
Priyanka Chopra, Also making it to the kissable list is the former Miss World and Fashion star.

Ash in Kolkata

It was during the latter half of 2003 that Mani Ratnam had gone to Kolkata to shoot for Yuva.

Five years later, the ace director is all set to shoot in Kolkata again. And the film in question this time is Raavana.

Having completed the shooting schedule in Kerala, MP and UP, the director reached Kolkata on Saturday. Shooting for Raavana will begin from February 18 and will continue till the end of this month.

Incidentally, both the Tamil and the Hindi versions of the film are being shot simultaneously. In the Hindi version, Abhishek plays the hero while Vikram plays the villain. In the Tamil version, Vikram plays the hero. Not much is known about the storyline though the buzz is that the film is a contemporary story that doesn’t have any obvious mythological connect to it.

Ash, who has been cast in both the Hindi and Tamil versions, will begin shooting in a jute mill in Agarpara. Vikram will also be shooting along with her from Wednesday. Big B will be joining the unit later this month. Apart from shooting in the jute mill and a bungalow, cinematographer Manikandan will also film certain portions on the streets of Kolkata that have a neutral character.

Recently, Raavana was in the news when Abhishek had shot for a song along with 500 dancers in Jhansi. The song, Kata Kata Mara Mara..., is reportedly the most lavish number that the director has ever shot in his career.

Madly-in-love Married Couples

Here's celebrating wedded couples who have been together forever but still look like madly-in-love sweethearts. From Gauri and Shah Rukh to Arjun and Mehr and Arbaaz and Malaika, we take a look at them all.

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan: They have been married since 1991, even before SRK became the superstar he is. Gauri is his anchor, someone who keeps him grounded and she has stuck with him through thick and thin. Their children Aryan and Suhana are being raised to follow Hinduism and Islam. Gauri maintains a low profile; she produces his movies and hosts his parties but doesn't accompany SRK to every second event. She is one of the warmest, most stylish and most hospitable wives in B-town. Together they make a couple that completes each other.

Hrithik and Susanne Roshan: Ah, young love. Hrithik and Susanne are childhood sweethearts. Apparently, he decided to marry her at the age of twelve and finally married her after he became a superstar and became an interior designer. Like SRK and Gauri, this is another interfaith marriage. They have two young sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan. With his Greek God looks and her delicate beauty and grace, they are one of the most beautiful couples in Bollywood.

Arjun and Mehr Rampal: They were both supermodels at the top of their game so being attracted to each other was only expected. Mehr and Arjun are usually seen hand-in-hand at concerts, premieres and parties. The perfectly paired couple have two daughters, Maahika and Myra. Mehr is Arjun's biggest fan; her prayers and love have helped Arjun go from Bollywood struggler to Bollywood biggie. Their compatibility is amazing.

Twinkle and Akshay Kumar: We all know what a playboy Akshay Kumar was before he got married. Twinkle Khanna tamed him and got him to commit to her. They have one young son, Aarav. Akshay may be a superstar today but when Twinkle married him, he wasn't. She keeps him grounded through success and failure. The interior designer with an elite clientele is one of the most stylish and gorgeous star wives in B-town.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan: Bollywood newest couple (they married in April, 2006) is totally in love. Ash and Abhi are hand-in-hand wherever they go and the newlyweds have eyes only for each other. Luckily for them, they are even doing films together, so they get a chance to mix business with pleasure. We can't wait to hear when the stork will visit this perfect-for-each-other twosome.

Arbaaz and Malaika Khan: This is one of the strongest marriages in B-Town in spite of the wife being more popular than the husband. They have a school-going son, Arhaan and are extremely supportive and secure about each other's career choices. Arbaaz and Malaika have been married for ten years but looking at them, you wouldn't be able to tell because they are still so smitten by each other.

Aishwarya Ria in sizzling pink at Berlin Intl Film Festival

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrives for the premiere of the movie 'Pink Panther 2 ' at the Berlinale in Berlin, Germany, Friday, Feb. 13, 2009.

The 59th International Film Festival Berlin takes place in the German capital from Feb. 5 until Feb. 15, 2009.

Aishwarya rocks on US showbiz TV

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may not have made a mark as a Hollywood star but still manages to be a part of American showbiz.

After the Oprah Winfrey Show and the David Letterman shows, she's appearing on the popular Martha Stewart Show this week.

The buzz is that Ash has been a part of the Valentine's Day line-up at the day-time show, and she featured in a segment that had Martha Stewart teaching her and audiences how to make candy treat cups.

Ash appeared while she was in New York for the premiere of her Hollywood flick 'The Pink Panther 2′.

However there's been some controversy around Ash's involvement with the movie as she reportedly has a very small role. She didn't even feature in the posters and other publicity material of the film. The producers said that she had been left out of mainstream Hollywood publicity because her appeal was 'limited to Asia'.

When Ash was irked and asked for better treatment, there was a little understanding and she was invited to be a part of the promotional events.

After bad responses to 'Bride and Prejudice', 'The Mistress Of Spices' and 'The Last Legion', it was hoped that 'Pink Panther 2′ would give Ash the required international publicity. This movie has got bad reviews as of now. We just hope it's not another all hype- no show' thing for Ash.

What next Ash? An international film maybe with Will Smith which you've been supposedly declining for so long

Ash & Tyra paint NY pink!

Guess who’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s new friend? The American model, TV hostess, actress, singer and businesswoman Tyra Banks.

The two beauties discovered kindred souls in each other the moment Ash went onto The Tyra Banks Show in New York after the premiere of Pink Panther 2 on February 2. They hit it off from the word go. And, after the show, Tyra invited Ash for lunch. The twosome went to a downtown restaurant and talked like there was no tomorrow.

They decided to stay in touch thereafter. Something else that Ash did in NY that was not in character was the way she dressed for the premiere and pink carpet — yes, in the Big Apple, they don’t do a red carpet. Giving up her trademark saree, she opted for a black Ferretti designer gown worn with Jimmy Choo diamond-strapped shoes and an Armani clutch-purse. She explained, “I love the saree and if people think of me as the global representative of the beautiful apparel then I’m happy.

But I also like to surprise myself and others. Just like doing the hot babe act in Dhoom 2 and the Rajput princess in Jodhaa-Akbar. Both the avatars are me. And I’m equally comfortable in a gown.”

Pics: What's been happening in tinseltown

Kangana's look in Kites, guests at Tusshar's belated birthday party, Kareena's bad make-up, Hottie Kangana, Mahesh Bhatt and Jackie Shroff are too close for comfort, Pooja Bhatt's back, Riteish's new look and much more.

Look At Me! We have had too much of Hrithik and Barbara Mori, so here is looking at Kangana Ranaut in Kites. She looks sophisticated in her layered dress and fresh-as-a-daisy in her casual avatar.

Mother and Son: Susanne Roshan with son Hrehaan on the sets of Kites in the US. She should have been careful about her white bra and we heard Hrehaan isn't allowed to eat chocolates. Holidays are an exception, probably. Where is Papa Hrithik?

Rare Photo: We usually see Ash with her hubby and Pa but here she is all smiles with brown coat clad Jaya Bachchan and Pa Amitabh in freezing New York.

Coupling: Ayesha Takia with fiancé Farhan Azmi and Amisha Patel with Kanav Puri. Must say Ayesha is looking very pretty.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow: Riteish Deshmukh has chopped off his thick mop of hair for a buzz cut. Neat!

Father and Son: Bealted-birthday-boy Tusshar and dad Jeetendra. Tusshar's checkered shirt looks like it was made from a table-cloth and we aren't a big fan of what Jeetendra's wearing either.

Mismatched Make-up: Her features are perfect but her make up is not. Her lower portion of her face has a reddish hue while her forehead is pale. And she should do something about the zit on her left cheek.

Sisters in Sarees: We like Kareena's bright yellow saree, but when it comes to a face off between the sisters, the elegant and graceful Lolo wins hands down. Kareena's stomach isn't exactly flat anymore, from what we can see.

Lucky Man: Kangana looks absolutely dazzling here. The blue and rose tinted make up, the shimmering blue number and blue shoes are amazing. Adhayan is one lucky man

Guess Who's Back: Pooja Bhatt still has a pretty face but not her petite frame. Her loose black attire makes her looks broader than she is.

Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai? By the way, their hands are wrapped around each other and the closeness of their mouths, it looks like Jackie Shroff and Mahesh Bhatt are going to kiss!

Stars are Human Too: For everyone who thought B-town stars were perfect, here is a flaw. Due to her weight gain, Kangana Ranaut has stretch marks. But it's ok; we still think she is sexy and pretty.

Pretty in Peach: Deepika Padukone flashes her dimpled smile at a Filmfare PC. We wish Ranbir was there too.

Aishwarya Rai gets a miss in most Pink Panther reviews

Pink Panther 2 which releases on February 6 has received very bad reviews from people who have seen the film at the premiere and Aishwarya hardly has a mention in the reviews.

The film has an 11% freshness rating and 3.5 on 10 score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Empire Magazine's William Thomas' verdict is 2 stars out of 5 and "A mirthless shot in the dark that misses the target by some distance." Aishwarya Rai isn't mentioned in the review at all. Owen Gleiberman of The Entertainment Weekly has given it a B- and 2 stars. There is no mention of Aishwarya Rai here too.

The Boston Phoenix calls it an "all too familiar stink," giving it 2 stars out 4
According to Boston Phoenix, the plot is razor thin and it is full of ninny nonsense. Aishwarya Rai is only mentioned as a "Bollywood Beauty."

Roger Moore of The Orlando Sentinel has given it 2 out of 5 stars, saying the movie "is somewhat less of a desecration of the memory of Peter Sellers than Martin's first outing as the bumbling French detective. Martin still hasn't bothered to learn a faux French accent. The editing doesn't hide that even the simplest stunts are now done by fellows in snow-white wigs." Aishwarya Rai is just mentioned as an "Indian."

David Germain of Bennington Banner isn't impressed with the film. Aishwarya Rai is just mentioned with other cast members. According to him, "there's a huge error behind "The Pink Panther 2" — other than the mistake of producing the sequel in the first place — it's pairing Steve Martin with John Cleese, and then failing to capitalize on their potentially explosive verbal exchanges." Harald Zwart's direction amounts to "90 minute slapstick stretches, each trying to heighten the level of Clousseau's idiocy."

It must be noted that the first film also got bad reviews but was a commercial success. The fate of this film and Ash's Hollywood innings is yet to be seen.

What this year holds for AB Baby and Raima Sen and Arbaaz Khan promote Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye on Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano

What the Future Holds: Astrologer and numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts that Abhi will have a successful 2009.
"2009 will be a satisfying year for junior B. Born on 5th Feb. 1976; Abhishek is a No.5 in numerology, ruled by No.5, 8 and 3. Delhi 6 adds to 6 which is one of his strong numbers and Raavan which adds up to 7 will also do well. Abhishek will also see his family life (maybe even fatherhood) improve because of numbers 2 and 7," says Bhavikk.

Pretty in Purple: Raima Sen looks pretty and glamorous in this fitted mauve dress and black sandals. Where is Randeep Hooda, the man of her dreams (on screen)?

All Smiles: Arbaaz Khan with Mahesh Manjrekar, Yash Tonk and Gulshan Grover

Mujhe Pehchano: Mandira Bedi, Mona Singh and Rakhi Sawant

I am the King: That's what the expression on Shiney's face says and thankfully, he isn't wearing his usual jackets.

B'wood jazzes up the Pink Panther 2 Premiere in NY

Amitabh braved the snowstorms to be by Abhishek and Aishwarya's side at the Pink Panther 2 premiere in New York. Anil Kapoor walked the red carpet too - looks like all the Slumdog bashing has been forgotten. But we can't help but ask where is mummy Jaya?

Threesome: Aishwarya with hubby Abhi and Pa Amitabh. Don't they miss Jaya Bachchan?

Haath Na Chhodo: As usual, the madly-in-love couple is hand-in-hand. Looks like Abhi is dragging Ash off the pink carpet

Beauty in Black: Ash sparkles in her black gown which shows off her ample assets

Millionaire Man: Anil Kapoor is basking in the Slumdog Millionaire glory and the international media can't get enough of him.

Ash back on Bollywood screens after 18 months

Aishwarya Rai will be seen in the Hollywood film Pink Panther 2 which comes to India in the summer. But Ash isn't the lead actress in it. So how long will fans of her Bollywood films have to wait to see the beauty set the screen on fire again?

Ash had two releases in 2008: Jodhaa Akbar and Sarkar Raj. Both the films did well at the box office and Ash's performance was appreciated in both. Jodhaa Akbar released in February while Sarkar Raj released in June 2008. Ash, who is currently in New York for the premiere of Pink Panther 2, will return to India after a fortnight to resume filming for Mani Ratnam's Raavan.

Mani Ratnam's Raavan which is set to release at the end of 2009 is most likely to be Ash's next Hindi release after Sarkar Raj in June 2008. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram, Govinda and Manisha Koirala. The film is a modern day re-telling of the Ramayana. Ash will play Sita, a contemporary accomplished Carnatic musician while Vikram is Rama and Abhishek is Raavan. Ash is also shooting for the Tamil version of the film, Ashokavanam, which will release at the same time as Raavan. Both the films have been shot in the interiors of South India.

After Raavan and Ashokavanam, Ash's next release is Shankar's sci-fi special-effects laden thriller Endhiran with Rajnikanth. The film has been shot in the exotic locales of Peru and Brazil in South America and Goa in India. Ash will be seen in colourful costumes in this film. The plot of the film revolves around Ash and Rajnikanth who is a couple. The twist in the story is that Rajnikanth invents a robot called Endhiran who also falls in love with Ash. The film will release in April 2010.

By the time the films release, Ash's Indian fans would have waited for well over a year to see their favourite actress back on their Bollywood screen again.

Ash won't accept award without Dad

The French are an emotional people.

But even they must not have been prepared for Aishwarya Bachchan’s response when they conferred their prestigious Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres honour on the pretty Bollywood actress.
“Thank-you, but not now,” is what Ash is reported to have told the French government when its second highest civilian award was announced in her name. Incidentally, this honour has been conferred earlier on Hollywood actors Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. And, on Shah Rukh Khan as well. There’s only one higher French civilan honour — the Legion d’honour which father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, Satyajit Ray and Pandit Ravi Shankar have received.

However, Ash was not turning down the French award. She was just putting it off until her ailing father, Krishna Raj Rai, was well enough to attend the award ceremony. “I wanted my entire family — and that includes my parents, brother, sister-in-law, my husband and his parents, sister and brother-in-law — to be there. My father has been unwell and I wanted him to be there at this important moment,” said Ash. “It will be a glorious moment. But not without my father!” Now that Krishna is well enough, Ash has asked the French government to go ahead with the ceremony. It is likely to be held in Paris when the actress attends the world premiere of her film, Pink Panther 2. “My father will have to brave the long flight. There’s a long list of dos and don’ts for him. But worth it, don’t you think,”Ash said.

Ash on the sets of Endhiran in Brazil

After enhancing the beauty of Brazilian beaches in Dhoom 2, Ash returns to the exotic locales of Brazil and Peru in South America to shoot for sci-fi thriller Endhiran with Rajnikanth. The film, budgeted at Rs. 165 crore will release in 2009.
