I had similar situation few years back after my I-140 approved, but before applying I-485.
As long as your job title, description and place of work won't change, then you are ok. When you apply I485 or H1B ext, then your attorney must submit a document (successor of interest or similar document), telling that your role and place don't change.

Hi,
I will be going for H1B stamping in feb/March at Mumbai Consulate.
In 2001 my F1 visa got rejected 3 times because I showed that I have sister in USA.
My sister is in still in USA. Now while taking H1B appointment in form I have again to mention yes or no (for the Que do you have any relatives in USA)
What I should do? What will be the effect if I said No? Do you think, VO will ask me that your F1 got rejected because you had sister in USA? So now did she came back?
Please reply me ASAP.

The new fee structure goes into effect Aug 17.
I vaguely remember reading an anecdote that there is no need to pay yearly renewal fees in the new fee structure. (Am I right?) Please share your views.

Complete your profile first. How come your GC is not approved if your PD is Nov'02 with EB-2 India....Is your I-140 approved and I-485 pending for more than 180 days? If so, it doesn't matter if your employer revokes I-140, you will be covered under AC21, provided you have another job offer in a same/similar position.

The Department of State has published a pamphlet educating nonimmigrant visa holders on their rights. The pamphlet covers the visa process, important documents, workplace and employee rights, human trafficking, and how to file a complaint. This is a very useful document, not just for immigrants. Hello, I am on the same boat... kinda...
I submitted the application with supporting doc paper base on June 2 and they receieved and signed the package on June 7 to NSC
Til today check was not cashed. I called the service center and the lady told me to wait til July 8 to call them again and they will look in to it... and she said since it's summer time NSC is backing up.... and it does take up to 30 days to get anything.
(However, I have been reading... ppl efile seem have better luck to get any movement... some ppl got the EAD card within 20 days!!!!!)
I read some ppl also did paper and after a month... they go for the efile... but I still did not hear if that would creat any problems...
I don't mind to waste the 340 if it can make my EAD processed....
I would rather have the card in my hand then check my checking account everyday to see if the check was cashed....
anyone did both paper and efile after one another and got approved????
anything helps!

No you do not need an airport transit visa if you are travelling via Germany by Lufthansa using ur AP. Until and unless you do not change terminals it should be fine and all lufthansa flight arrive/depart from same terminals.
I just returned yesterday using my AP and I traveled via Munich.
You will be asked for your AP at immigration in India as well as while transiting in Germany..

2) Recent court ruling is that even if it is beyond 240 days from day your current one expires, your status is valid as you are waiting for decision. You can search for this, I read it couple of months back. Or seniors may confirm this.

EAD is employment authorization document. Your analogy is like -
"Can I use her driving licence to drive around town". I am not sure if that is what you meant.
If you want her to be the primary applicant in your GC application and then use EAD as a dependent, that is possible. You will lose your H1B status then.

Right now Atlanta Processing Center processing May 2008 priority date for clean cases....for audited cases July 2007...
It's not true that all the cases will got to Atlanta Processing Center ...if any case that has been auidted will be moved to Atlanta Processing Center.
