My wife'e H1B expires on Feb 2007 and she still has not applied for H1B renewal as she was on maternity leave. She will do so in first week of November. It looks like H1B extension process takes more than 3 months. Virginia is one of the states which just gives ur Driver license till ur H1B validity. So her license is valid till feb 2007. Would like to know if she can get her license renewed in Feb 2007 with a H1b receipt number or should she do Premium processing of her H1B. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If going out of the country for a long time as a GC holder, you may need to apply for travel document (returning resident ????) with USCIS.

I was wondering how the engine is calculating the scaling of the image to change the ViewPort, while zooming in and out. Does the change of ViewPort and the image composition within it depends only on the viewport width?
I have not able to find much greater details on this yet from MS. Would you be able to direct me please to some materials to understand more on Multiscale image control and its working in and out.

hello all,
I wanted a clarification regarding address change:
My company changed address recently from address City A to address City B (same county, same metropolitan area). Do you know if I need to do any LCA Amendment?
I had consulted a lawyer regarding this, he said we don't need to do any LCA Amendment since it is the same metropolitan area.
Also I am not getting any clear answers from any other websites.
Wanted to cross check with you all. If anybody know please help.

I went to US on B1 and came back to india last week, I would like to apply H1 in the current year. Is there any cooling period to apply H1B once come back from US on B1 or Can I start the H1B process immediately.

I am planning to use AC21 by joining a company on this March month end , I asked new company to process H1, and its in progress.
In APRIL Visa Billiton my PD is current, as I have PD of JUNE 2001( EB2), my RD - JUNE 29, 2007 .at this stage if I change company what is the impact on my GC approval. Should I wait for some more time to join the new company?

Buddy, you will need to send only one AR-11 but will need to call in your change of address for every application. One phone call will cover it all, but make sure you tell the Customer service person that you needed this to be changed for every case. Then you will get a confirmation letter at your mailing address for every case that you changed address on. That is what I had to do on my 485 and EAD application.
Also if you have any dependents over 21 (like spouse) then make sure your spouse is next to you or calls in separately to the Customer service. They will not allow you to speak for your spouse. You could do so for dependents under 21 though.
Here is the little official quote and the link:
If you are not a U.S. citizen and you have a case pending with USCIS you need to do both - call customer service and complete the Form AR-11. The AR-11 is used by non-U.S. citizens to meet the legal requirements of informing USCIS of any change of address. Presently, completing an AR-11 does not update your address on any pending case. 140 rejection may not be an issue... but in case your worst fear comes true...you will be alright if it's rejected before feb 2008.
Even then there are other ways around this problem...

My case is a bit different.
I have a 485 filed by a company for future employment.
Right now my Priority date became current for my current employer and that labor and I140 are approved.
So can we file multiple 485's with USCIS or do we need to cancel the other 485 to file new 485 with my current employer.
