Mallika Sherawat one of the top newsmaker of the year 2003. She is blowing the lid on hypocricy. She is a true blue 'jatni' from Haryana. She has grown in a jat atmosphere with a countryside upbringing. She always wanted to be an actress. And made her mind to get out of the rut and atleast try once. Then again Mahesh Bhatt's thriller Murder directed by Anurag Basu has put Mallika in an unconventional act. It's a story of a married woman who's life is hell. She is lonely and had an affair. This film has shades of celebration, of blossoming, passion & love and of insecurity.
Mallika Sherawat's decision of coming in films is still diffcult to digest for his father. He has not forgiven her. But her brother supports her from starting. She believes his support is her strength. She came from a bejewelled prisoner in a haryana haveli and has opted for the bollywood lanes. Her real name is 'Reema Lambha'. She had changed her name because their are many reema's in industry . And sherawat is her mother's last name and mallika sound like queen so she changed her name to Mallika Sherawat.
She has signed one more film with Govind Menon Kis Kiski Kismat. It's a comedy film opposite Dharmendra. And another film untitled film of Mahesh Bhatt.

Karishma Kapoor

Karishma Kapoor, nicknamed "Lolo" (born 25 June 1974 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood movies. She is from the renowned Kapoor Family of Bollywood.She is the daughter of Randhir Kapoor, an actor popular during the 1970s and 80s, and actress Babita. Her sister is actress Kareena Kapoor.Raj Kapoor is Karishma Kapoor's Grandfather and renowned actors Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor are her uncles.
She studied at the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai until grade six. Karishma made her debut in the 1991 movie Prem Quaidi and has since then acted in sixty five movies.
She did many films which went on to become hits or do average at the box office. Films like Andaz Apna Apna, Raja Babu, Saajan Chale Sasural and Coolie No. 1 did well at the box office and enhanced her in the industry. She starred in the hit Raja Hindustani with Aamir Khan. The movie was one of the biggest hits of the year and she won her first Filmfare award. She achieved critical acclaim with film such as Zubeidaa, Shakti: The Power and Fiza.
She temporarily retired from the industry after her marriage. On 29 September 2003, she married industrialist Sunjay Kapur, CEO of Sixt India, according to Sikh marriage rites. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter name Samaira, on 11 March 2005. Ever since they had some widely publicized marital problems, they reconciled. Prior to her marriage to Sunjay Kapur, she was also engaged to Abhishek Bachchan, the scion of the Bachchan Family, and also dated Ajay Devgan.

Yana Gupta

Yana Gupta was born in Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic) and began modelling in the mid 1990's at the age of 16. Her real name is Yana Synkova which she changed after marriage. She married to Satya Gupta a Pune based artist and her career took a turns toward the east. In 2001 she was named as the new face for 'Lakme cosmetics in India', replacing former Lakme model Lisa Ray. Yana, who’s been modelling since the age of 16, worked in Milan, Paris and Vienna, even working on brands like Nivea and Shiseido before settling India, where her husband is based.
Yana first appeared on big screen to fame with the 'Bijli' number in Dum. She has done three music videos for Shail and Merlin and Jalwa. Although Yana Gupta has been getting acting offers from Bollywood, the stunning Czech beauty is sticking to what she does the best 'song and dance'.
Director Sanjay Gupta has roped in Yana to do a hot sizzling item number in his forthcoming movie titled Musafir. Musafir, which stars Gupta’s buddy Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Mahesh Manjrekar and Priyanka Chopra, is about mature romance and will also have a little bit of exposure. She has shot for a song with Sanjay Dutt for Sunil Shetty’s Rakth and currently has six item numbers in her kitty.
It seems that Yana is only interested in bump-grind act and does not want to graduate to full-fledged roles in films. She knows her strengths and weaknesses quite well. Yana admits that acting isn’t her cup of tea. She knows that she neither has the histrionic skills nor the command over Hindi language. Therefore the Bijli would like to stick to her forte that is raunchy item numbers. She is perfect for dance numbers because of her uninhibited jigs and nimble footed flair. Moreover, the svelte belle doesn’t mind exposing, although within decent limits.

Koena Mitra, born 7 January 1985 in Kolkata, India, is an actress in the Bollywood film industry. As her name indicates Koena Mitra's life flows through different realms of experience. Even tough the movie wasn’t a hit, Koena finally made it to the actress club. Koena dramatics aren’t very impressive, but she is able to procure roles with her dancing style and image.
However she got all the attention the movie "Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena" directed by Suparna Verma . Suparna Verma liked the new face in Musafir and made Koena as the heroine of his new film. In this movie she played the lead role opposite Fardeen Khan. This role was initially slated to play by Bipasha Basu, who backed out due to lack of dates. However it turned out to be a stepping-stone for Koena. Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena was not a big hit but was enough for Koena to make an entry to Bollywood actress club.
