She represented India at the 1992 Miss Universe pageant, where she finished third (2nd runner up).
Sapre lives in Italy with her husband Gian Maria. She dated the popular Indian model, Milind Soman.
She still does the odd appearance on the ramp in India. Sapre shuttles between Italy and India.
